“Strength in Numbers”
As the newly elected President of the NHS, I want to send a warm welcome to you all. With all the changes, adaptations, and paradigm shifts that our industry has undergone in the last few years, it is important now, more than ever, to band together as one voice. In order to ensure the proliferation of our profession, we need to adapt right along with the industry.
We are excited about many changes happening within our organization, one of which is our fantastic new website! This will be an added resource for our members to engage with one another and have improved communication with the NHS board. Stay aware, as there will be many additions and features added to the site as time goes on.
We are thrilled to once again have our state meeting LIVE! Did you know?? Nebraska was one of first states to implement and execute a successful remote State Continuing Education event during Covid! The board worked tirelessly to get this accomplished for the two years we utilized this innovative method of learning. That being said, we are once again excited to see you all live and in person this year! Camaraderie and strength is best achieved live and in person.
Please explore the new site!! Feel free to ask questions or reach out to any of the board members for information. Get the word out about NHS and encourage others to join! There is strength in numbers, and we are in control of our destiny!
