Hearing is an important sensory window. It is second only to vision in building our perception of the world around us. It is the number one sense engaged in communication. In my capacity as a hearing instrument dispenser, I have the immense responsibility to evaluate my patients hearing ability, counsel on selection, and appropriately program hearing aids in order to maximize their ability absorb the world around them, and facilitate better communication with their collegues and loved ones.
